Roles are hired directly through the restaurant. Please call, or drop off a résumé in person outside of service hours. We don’t work with recruitment agencies.

  1. Line Cook, wok 炒鍋師傅

    Full-time · Kitchen

    Two years or more of Chinese-kitchen experience. Comfortable with Huaiyang or Shanghai technique preferred; will train the right person on regional specifics.

    Full-time · Kitchen

    Hand-wrapping and pleating experience essential. Xiaolongbao and pan-fried bun specifically; volume is modest, precision is not.

    Part-time and full-time · Front of house

    Bilingual (Mandarin or Cantonese with English) preferred. Friendly, calm during a busy Sunday lunch, and interested in the food. Weekend availability is a plus.

We’re a small team. Everyone knows what everyone else does. The kitchen doesn’t use frozen dumplings, doesn’t cut corners on the salted duck, and doesn’t plate for photographs. If that sounds like the kind of place you want to work, please get in touch.

  • Competitive hourly wage above Ontario minimum, negotiable based on experience.
  • Family meal before service on every shift; leftovers home is expected, not policed.
  • Tips pooled fairly by hours worked, distributed weekly with pay.
  • Learning by doing senior cooks teach knife-work, dough, and pleating; front of house learns menu & language.
  • Predictable schedule rotating weekends, one long shift or two mid-shifts; time off requests honoured.
  • Direct hiring no agencies, no long interview cycles; a shift trial before offer.

We hire year-round as roles open. If nothing on the list fits, and you know the food, still call. We’ve made room for good cooks before.
